Homes England has announced a new information hub for housing professionals to support homebuilding, placemaking and regeneration.
The Housing Information Hub, which is available on Gov.uk will host a national index of professional housing resources. It has been designed in collaboration with local authorities and other partners to respond the needs, and asks, of the sector.
The aim is to cover the full housing and delivery journey, resources are split into five key areas - financing, leading, building, using land and planning.

The Department for Education has published an updated list of schools with RAAC, with an additional 27 schools identified.

The Welsh Government has published plans to make the the Senedd more modern and effective as part of the Co-operation Agreement with Plaid Cymru.
The Bill aims to create a modern Senedd, which is better able to represent people in Wales, with increased capacity to scrutinise, make laws, and hold the government to account.
It also builds on the recommendations made by the Special Purpose Committee on Senedd Reform, which were endorsed by a majority of Senedd Members in June 2022.

The University of Bristol will host the new AI Research Resource (AIRR), which will serve as a national facility to help researchers maximise the potential of AI and support critical work into the potential and safe use of the technology.

The completion of affordable homes in Scotland is at a 23-year high according to the Scottish Government.
Almost 11,000 affordable homes were delivered in the year to end June 2023.
The Scottish Government has a target of delivering 110,000 affordable homes by 2032, with 70% of these for social rent and 10% in rural and island communities.
Housing Minister Paul McLennan said:

Ofsted has released a statement saying that it will avoid inspecting any education setting that is on the Department for Education’s published list of education settings affected by RAAC this term.
For those settings that are not on the list, but are still impacted by RAAC in some way – for example, hosting pupils from schools that have RAAC, Ofsted has updated its deferrals guidance. This will make clear that it will consider disruption as a result of measures taken to deal with RAAC, when looking at inspection deferral.
