Glasgow's Low Emission Zone became operational from 31 December 2018, with plans to extend to all vehicle types by the end of 2022.
While it initially affects local service buses only, Scotland's first ever Low Emission Zone will be extended to all vehicle types by the end of 2022. Low Emission Zones are due to become operational in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee by 2020.
