Foreign direct investment to the Core Cities, being London, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Birmingham, reflects a continuing trend that leaves towns across the country starved of the investment they badly need.
