Brixton town centre has become the latest part of London to become an al fresco dining hotspot as part of the Mayor's Summer Streets scheme.
On Saturday 9 August, Atlantic Road in Brixton hosted a celebration of music, food and trade.

£18 million has been set aside to roll out early intervention child protection reforms to councils in England.
The reforms include the roll out of Family Group Decision Making, an approach which involves extended family members in helping keep children at home rather than in care. There will also be thousands more family help workers to provide earlier support for families experiencing challenges, such as substance misuse or poor mental health.

Homelessness minister Rushanara Ali has resigned.
The resignation comes after reports that she ended her tenants' fixed-term contract in order to sell the property, but then within six months, relisted the property for rent at a higher price.
The upcoming Renters' Rights Bill would outlaw this practice.
