The Mayor of Derby has set a £25,000 fundraising target for his Mayoral year.
Throughout the current municipal year John Whitby
will be raising funds for the Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, Safe and Sound, Children First, the British Red Cross and the Derby Museums Trust.
To help him reach his target, the Mayor has formed a small working group, made of volunteers from across Derby City Council, Derby Homes and his chosen charities, to come up with ideas for fundraising.
