New digital platform for Birmingham City Council
Birmingham City Council has chosen Jadu’s Continuum CXM platform to deliver a new digital platform for its residents and businesses.
The platform allows users to track service requests in real time, meaning that, through the use of automatic notifications, users are aware of when their service status changes. Services on the new platform will be rolled out iteratively, with Highways and Parks set to be the first to launch in the spring of this year.

ClientEarth win High Court air pollution case
Activist lawyers from ClientEarth have won a third High Court victory over the UK government's plans to tackle air pollution.
Mr Justice Garnham said that the government plan was ‘unlawful’ and that more action was needed in 45 English local authority areas and said that steps had to be taken to comply with the law as soon as possible, with current cations deemed ‘not sufficient’.

Recycling information available on app in Ealing
Residents in Ealing can now use a new app to quickly and easily access all manner of information about recycling in the borough.
The London Borough of Ealing has unveiled the @Home app to allow residents to access information about the council’s rubbish and recycling collections, including details of rubbish and recycling services, collection dates, reminders for collections, information on what is and isn’t recyclable and recycling centre locations.
The app has been created by Agile Applications and costs councils £2,400 each year.
