Put well-being at the heart of lockdown strategy
Labour is urging the government to put well-being at the heart of its lockdown strategy, amid uncertainty from further restrictions.
With England poised to face further restrictions gyms, swimming pools and other sports face closure making it more difficult for people to exercise. Labour is calling for ministers to explain how they plan to help the public stay fit and healthy during this time.

Review over provision of toilets for women and men
Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick has launched a review that will help women be assured of the necessary provision of toilets.
Evidence shows that increasing numbers of publicly accessible toilets are being converted into ‘gender neutral’ facilities, causing problems for women and the elderly in particular.
The review, launched to ensure better provision of toilets for women and men, will also look at signage, which should be clearer and use sex-specific language, to avoid confusion.
