New government figures show that 397 households became homeless every day between July and September 2021.
Containing the first three full months’ worth of data after the eviction ban was lifted, the figures indicate that a  total of 36,510 households were tipped into homelessness – equivalent to a town the size of Burnley.

Oxford’s Zero Emission Zone pilot to launch on 28 February
Oxford City Council has announced that Britain’s first Zero Emission Zone (ZEZ) will begin in the city on 28 February 2022.
While many cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Bath have already introduced or are in the process of introducing Clean Air Zone restrictions and charges for vehicles, Oxford will be the first city in Britain to introduce a ZEZ.
