The Land Registry has launched a consultation on the proposed draft Local Land Charges Rules 2017.
Under the Infrastructure Act 2015 the responsibility for Local Land Charges will transfer from local authorities to the Land Registry, which will require additional legislation to implement the changes.
The consultation invites comments on the draft rules, which will provide a framework for how the Local Land Charges Register Service will work.
