The tourism industry in the Peak District and Derbyshire is set for a boost after the awarding of £1.49 million grant.

The government has announced a £25 million housing and technology fund to help people with learning disabilities live independently.
Focused on helping use technology to adapt the homes of people with learning disabilities, the funding will be available to local authorities and community organisations, who will be able o bid for between £10,000 and £3 million.
