Following the success of the EV Rally of Scotland last year, GREENFLEET is pleased to announce the launch of The Great British EV Rally (GBEVR), which will be a live demonstration of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, running the entire length of the UK.
Sponsored by leasing specialists, Lex Autolease, the Rally will set off from Scotland and will cover over 1,200 miles over five days as it heads south to Lands End.
The Great British EV Rally will visit EV charge points and clean energy projects on route, as well as take in iconic British landmarks.
The teams will be made up of a mix of fleet operators and motoring companies.
By the end of the week, the GB EV Rally will have travelled the length of the UK - with the aim of proving that electric vehicles are viable, even for those drivers that cover long distances, or for those that live in the more rural parts of the country.
More details on the route and teams will be announced shortly.
