Dundee City Council's relaunched website now features 30 different map based services including locations of polling stations, local recycling facilities, grit bins and school catchment areas.
Planning applications in an area can be highlighted, as well as the nearest bus stop with information on when the next bus is due.
Other new interactive features on the website include the opportunity to give the council instant comment on the quality of website services it provides and every page on the site includes a feedback button.
The updated look and feel will make it easier for the 4,000 visitors each day to find the wide range of online services.
Council leader Ken Guild said: "Dundee is leading the way on how people can access online information about their local services."
"Our aim is to have a council website that is useful to everyone in Dundee, and with these new features, created under the banner of 'My Dundee', I think we have achieved that."
