GuardPoint10 utilises state of the art technologies giving a powerful and elegant operator friendly solution. GuardPoint10 is a complete redesign of our legacy software platform, GuardPointPro, focused on offering a new vibrant and engaging user experience. Lift Control Integration – KONE, Mitsubishi, Otis

For streamlined monitoring of employee movements within multi-storey buildings, our lift control module offers precise control over user access within the lifts. With two types of integration—low and high level—we cater to varying needs. 

Low-Level Integration: Achieving low-level integration is straightforward: by wiring an output into the lift controller’s input, each floor selection button within the lift connects to its dedicated relay on the door controller. When a user presents their card to the reader, the controller autonomously decides which floors they can access. This setup empowers you to manage up to 64 floors per controller efficiently. 

High-Level Integration: High-level integration operates via software commands sent to the lift controller, containing floor permissions and additional parameters. This advanced approach allows optimisation of multi-car lift systems, which can intelligently allocate cars based on passengers’ input floors, thereby minimising wait and travel times. Through this integration, you gain the ability to enforce access restrictions for cardholders, utilising time schedules and floor/destination permissions, bolstering both security and movement efficiency throughout the building.
