Continental is one of the world’s leading manufacturers for commercial vehicle tyres. The product portfolio offers a tyre solution for truck, bus, coach, van and industrial vehicles, with a focus on safety, reliability and achieving the lowest overall driving cost. Tyres are produced based on application; characterised by vehicle, road condition, and customer requirements and driver behaviour.
This year Continental Tyres will use its presence at the CV Show 2017 to highlight its operational solutions, designed to help inform fleets, put efficiency and safety first and provide a complete service to complement its comprehensive range of commercial vehicle tyres.
ContiPressureCheck, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), as a standalone system or with full telematics integration, is further developed this year, with the roll-out of the group’s ContiYardReader TPMS system this summer. The ContiYardReader system will allow fleet managers to monitor tyre pressures automatically for all vehicles in the yard adding further accuracy to fleet maintenance and helping to prevent costly tyre breakdowns.
Continental’s TPMS modular offering is proven to have multiple benefits for fleets, including reduced fuel costs, lower environmental impact and higher safety levels as well as helping to lower the likelihood of tyre blowouts.
