Kensington & Chelsea TMO has contract terminated

Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) , the body that was responsible for the management of Grenfell Tower, has had its contract to maintain social housing in the region terminated.

Local councillors unanimously voted to end the contract stating that the body, who have been responsible for managing 10,000 properties in the borough since 10,000, ‘no longer had the trust of residents in the borough’.

Council leader Elizabeth Campbell said that 20 families affected by the fire are now in permanent accommodation, with a further 52 households had accepted an offer in principle.
