Central Hall Westminster
Central Hall Westminster – the affordable London conference venue

ImageCentral Hall Westminster, which opened in 1912, is a unique historic Edwardian building situated in the heart of Westminster London, just adjacent to Westminster Abbey.  The building was designed by Lanchester & Rickards in Viennese Baroque style, and the ceiling of the Great Hall is reportedly the second largest of its type in the world and is a pioneering achievement in architectural engineering.

Combined with the elegancy are the very finest of conference, meeting and banqueting facilities.

Many events of national importance and eminent speakers have been welcomed - perhaps one of the most famous events being the Inaugural General Assembly of the United Nations in 1946, with many distinguished persons returning here again for the 50th Anniversary celebrations in 1996.

This building has also welcomed British Prime Ministers, members of the Royal Family and Ambassadors from many countries – Mahatma Ghandi spoke in the Lecture Hall in autumn 1931, and General de Gaulle founded the Free French here in the early 1940’s.

Central Hall Westminster is a landmark building on London’s skyline, boasts spacious marble foyers and sweeping stairways which lead to our extensive complex of halls, conference rooms, exhibition areas, cafeteria and serviced offices. Regardless of the size or complexity of your requirements, one of our events team will be dedicated to your event.
