Show features Features areas for 2008 include:
- Experiential Learning Zone: These short, interactive sessions are a well-established and popular feature at the World of Learning. The Zone offers visitors the chance to test innovative and unusual learning techniques for themselves and gives them a new perspective on improving business learning and performance.
- Free Seminars: The World of Learning Exhibition will once again host an educational seminar programme for visitors. Seminars cover an array of valuable subjects from online coaching, e-learning and virtual worlds to ROI, compliance training and case studies from the public and telecoms sectors. - Company Presentation Theatre: The dedicated presentation theatre will be buzzing with the latest innovations and learning solutions available, giving visitors the chance to see them being put through their paces and judge for themselves how they could help improve learning within their organisation. Among the companies taking part are Academee, Belbin Associates, CB Learning, Cegos, Consulting Tools and Learning Architect with topics including e-learning, blended learning and communicating in a global context.
- Serious Games: This dedicated area will host leading providers of serious games products and solutions and is an excellent opportunity for visitors to discover more about this learning technique and how to implement it within their organisations.
Advice from experts - BILD Advice Clinic: A new feature for 2008, the BILD Advice Clinic is a free advice area facilitated by experts from British Institute for Learning & Development. Advisors will be on hand to offer guidance on visitors' learning issues or questions through one-to-one appointments. The Advice Clinic is open to all visitors on a first come, first served basis – simply sign up on the day.
- CCE Pavilion: The Conference Centres of Excellence (CCE) Pavilion will host leading conference and training venue providers from across the UK and offers visitors a dedicated area to source new facilities for learning programmes and events.
- Learning Library: Visitors can browse a wide array of learning and training materials and information in the Learning Library, as well as take a welcome break from the busy exhibition floor.
- Energiser Zone: Another new area for this year, facilitated by Learning Architect, the Energiser Zone offers visitors a relaxed environment away from the exhibition floor to experience learning techniques that can help improve health and well being at work. Sessions include workplace wellness, nutrition advice and reflexology.
- Networking Café: The relaxed environment of the Networking Café provides the ideal venue to meet exhibitors, colleagues and friends.
