SA Group provide the Public Sector with physical and cyber security support, including testing and assurance of IT systems and services. We do this by working with customers to develop robust and sustainable systems, procedures and ways of working that are accredited and meet recognised global best practice. We have an established reputation for the provision of objective and independent technical and commercial support, testing and assurance in complex technologically environments for both government and industrial clients. This includes advising customers on their technological advances; developing, managing and testing solutions to the risks and threats to customer’s systems. We frequently work in the ‘Customer Engineer or Friend’ roles ensuring that system suppliers are meeting Customer requirements and delivering value for money with their solutions. Typically, we save between 10 and 50% of expected costs for customers as well as ensuring projects are delivered on time and in full.

Our Engineers have >1,000 years of experience supporting Government Departments, the Public Sector and the Defence Industry. The majority having been users of the systems we support as well as having provided testing and assurance of these systems. Our knowledge and capabilities enable our customers to identify business value, manage risk and realise higher levels of success from the programmes and projects that they undertake. As a demonstration of the value we add, over 80% of our work comes from clients who have worked with us previously.
SA Group places significant emphasis in ensuring that the company is able to provide our customers with the confidence that we have robust, externally accredited, management systems in place. SA Group has three accredited systems; a Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) and Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301), all of which are annually inspected by the British Standards Institute. In addition to ISO 27001 certification, SA Group holds the Cyber Essentials Plus certification and are certified as meeting the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. SA Group has a stand alone, accredited secure IT system able to handle secret data. This enables us to work offsite and reduce the resource/facility overhead for Customers.

Our engineers and management team recognise the importance of establishing strong, positive, relationships with all project stakeholders and developing the trust of confidence of all parties. Recognising that when delivering specialist support there is a range of expertise required, and not just generalists, we ensure that for each project lead can call on expertise as required in design and development, user requirements, analysis, documentation, trails and testing and deployment.
