Established in 2014 to address the need for inspections on difficult access sites in the rail sector, our head office in Lichfield is complemented with satellite offices in South Yorkshire and Durham to enable us to provide our services UK-wide.
GeoAccess teams comprise multi-skilled civil and geotechnical engineers, geologists, structural and earthwork examiners, which form our rope teams and are also commercial drone pilots. Comprehensively trained and with decades of amassed experience in rail, highways, construction, mining and site/ground investigation, our operatives possess the qualifications, expertise, knowledge and experience to carry out visual and detailed inspections of buildings, structures and infrastructure assets.
GeoAccess can offer stand-alone drone or rope access, or integrated drone and rope access inspection services, depending upon the type of asset and the requirements of the inspection. GeoAccess flight crews and rope access technicians are from similar professional backgrounds and have shared knowledge and experience, allowing them to work together seamlessly. GeoAccess undertake visual, detailed and bespoke inspections of a variety of assets including retaining structures; tunnels; airshafts; earthworks, rock faces; buildings; sea defences; waterways; drainage assets and theme park rides.
In addition to inspection capability, GeoAccess also provide aerial services using specific drones for surveying and mapping; 3D modelling; thermographic surveys; plant health mapping; photography and videography. We also have an underwater drone, which can be used in saltwater and freshwater, to conduct a broad range of sub-surface work including inspections of dam walls; quay walls; sheet-pile walls; scour protection; embankments; earth-fill dams; intakes and debris screens and in aquaculture and archaeology.
