CCG (Scotland) Ltd

Headquartered in Glasgow, CCG (Scotland) Ltd is one of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction and manufacturing companies and is as a major contributor to the Scottish construction industry employing 650 staff across eight fully integrated divisions.

The CCG Group operates across every sector of the industry with five specialist companies delivering full construction capabilities complimented by the off-site manufacture of timber systems, planned maintenance to existing buildings including fabric renewal, the manufacture of timber window and door products, and the bespoke design of mechanical and electrical services.

Key to our business model is our focus on innovation and skills development including our year on year commitment to training and trades apprentices which represents over 10 per cent of the CCG workforce. High-quality and industry recognised apprenticeship and trainee opportunities are available to young people aged 16 and above across the Group ranging from modern trades including bricklaying, plumbing and joinery, to training in the areas of estimating, surveying, health and safety, and site management.

Extensive research is undertaken across each sector, particularly in the applied use of Modern Methods of Construction, ensuring that our clients benefit from a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in our product, delivery approach and our skills and expertise. A significant part of our business is the delivery of affordable, environmentally efficient housing across Scotland, working in partnership with local authorities and housing associations to support national housing targets. As such, CCG has established itself as a specialist in this area delivering anything from small residential developments to large scale, urban regeneration schemes as well as educational establishments and projects from within the commercial and healthcare sectors.

Our construction capability is met with industry-leading quality and environmental performance thanks to the use of the iQ closed panel timber frame system which is manufactured in the bespoke off-site manufacturing facility, CCG OSM. The OSM facility represents a £12m investment by CCG and has been operational since 2010. Spanning 130,000 sq. ft. with a 3-lane, semi-automated production line, the OSM manufacturing process provides clients with complete design flexibility. A fully closed panelised system, inclusive of windows, doors, wall linings, insulation, and service zones, can be completed in just 3 hours.

CCG challenges traditional construction convention, drives innovation and embraces changes.
