Videofied is a truly unique wireless alarm system with video cameras built into the PIR detectors. When a PIR is triggered the on-board video camera instantly fires up and takes a 10 second video clip of whatever has caused the detection.

The video is then immediately sent to a remote monitoring station with the alarm notification. Since the field of view of the camera is identical to the detection angle the monitoring station operator effectively sees what has triggered the PIR, whether it be a genuine intruder or a false alarm.

The system is totally wire-free:  the control panel and alarm devices are wireless and battery operated, and the communication back to the monitoring station is via a GPRS data link from the panel (a dual path powered system with IP connection is also available).

A system can be set up in minutes with minimal installation time and cost. The Videofied equipment is also typically significantly cheaper to purchase and monitor than a conventional CCTV system. Since the system also identifies actual crimes in progress an urgent response can be initiated and insurance losses can be kept to a minimum. Videofied can also be deployed with conventional wireless sirens to scare off intruders and two way voice communications is also an option.

The system incorporates both indoor and outdoor PIR cameras with built in IR illumination for day/night video capability.

The Videofied system is ideal for applications where false alarms are particularly costly or frequent such as in outdoor areas. The system is also ideally suited to temporary and rapid response type applications.
